No I do not think that Mona turning Jewish was worth all the work and arguing. She was motivated to turn Jewish because she wanted to fit in with her friends. She went through a lot of studying and she realized that turning Jewish maybe wasn't worth all the work and time. Her intentions originally to turn Jewish were only to be with her friends. She went to the synagogue often; however the only reason she went was because her friends were there. She shouldn't have made such a big change just so she could fit in with her friends. She spent so much time and effort in turning Jewish; only to doubt it in the end.
